Blades is smaller, fun loving and skilled, family founded guild :-D We are based in Canada and love to play WoW and have been for 2 years now! We started with 3 principles: Fun, Honour and Working Together. We have worked hard to stay true to those, even when we were raiding MC.
After many of us took a break from the game, we are back leveling alts and running 5 mans, looking forward to the new Dungeons to conquer in The Burning Crusade! We are enjoying working together once again, running Heroics and Karazhan :) You will find us honing our skills, learning new classes, having fun in the Battlegrounds and helping each other on Bloodscalp. Enough said.
With Blizzard releasing patch 3.0.2(they call it the Echoes of Doom??), they have started the transition from Burning Crusade to Wrath of the Lich King. Many of the new features have been implemented into the game. The rest along with the continent of Northrend, will be available on November 13, 2008. Make sure to reserve your copy(or copies--Dave). I look forward to seeing everyone again over the next few weeks. -Casandra PS: If you use addons, you may need to download the updated version of them at Curse. I have found that Deadly Boss Mods may disable the ability to see the chat log, and that any of the CT addons may not allow you to use a flight path.
Not much going on with the Blades crew at the moment. Some of the addicted currently play horde on Runetotem or continue to muck around on Bloodscalp.
And a few more are eagerly looking at Warhammer Online until Wrath of the Lichking. If you're interested in trying it drop by the forums and let Joel know! It goes live September 18th!

The day after the new patch came out, Blades ventured into Zul'Aman and downed the Bear Boss! It was great to be playing with friends again as we had taken a break from raiding for a few weeks. We had a few learning experiences as we ventured into the unknown and came out on top :-D We can't wait to conquer the rest of the new content!
In typical Blades fashion, our 3rd ever attempt on Prince and we destroyed him! It was almost unreal to just watch as we systematically took him out, with a bit of fortunate luck from the infernals ;-) Great skill and teamwork is what we pride ourselves on and it really paid off! Congrats Blades.
We went back just for another crack at him as we have been learning the Aran encounter and got him to 3% our 1st attempt and then downed him 2nd try! That is what the game is about, learning and working together to overcome obstacles :-D Congrats Blades, now onto more fun!!

Just a heads up: due to request, we will be moving back toward integration with WoW in-game roster information via an Add-On, instead of directly connecting to the armory. This will require uploading a saved variables file (instructions will be given) to update your roster info. However, there are many benefits. For one, rank names will again show (instead of just numbers), the add-on also supports uploading to even follow-ups so that you don't have to manually enter drops, and more functionality can be added as we go. Just want to give some notice before it happens, within the next couple days. This will not be the same add-on we used to run, but a new one. More details will follow!

Fixing shout box text input so that the page doesn't do a full postback when you add a new shout (currently only a problem in IE).

Fixed a problem with forums that had posts showing "No Posts!" in the main forum listing. However, the fix will only apply moving forward (after a new post is added).

Adding detection of StateBar (the wrapper CSS class for the login area at the top of guild pages) CSS rule for guilds using custom CSS. If it's not there, the rule will be added at render with properties that will make the display uniform to the site.

Fixing up some ContentTable css rules, so that if custom stylesheets do not specify a width, it is added automatically. The ContentTable is a relatively new class, and represents tabular, or grid-like, content within content boxes.
